Established in 1907 to connect citizens and farmers, the Market continues its “Meet the Producer” tradition with a year-round farmers market, crafts, owner-operated bakeries, fish markets, butcher shops, produce stands and specialty food stores.
It have a lot of historic place especially the Gum wall and the Starbucks Coffee, the very first one. And the bread bakery is very good.
Seafood is great if you walk around back you’ll easily find the modestly priced seafood. Save room for the finest Piroshky Piroshky spot.
Very touristy, very fun, just like the tour pamphlet. Good restaurants, walk to waterfront. A must see Seattle classic.
There's so much to eat, it's so hard to decide what to buy! Fun fact: the fish thrown in the market is the same one thrown around all day because catching fish by hand actually causes it to bruise.
