The J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Center in Los Angeles houses European paintings, drawings, sculpture, illuminated manuscripts, decorative arts, and European and American photographs.
Stellar collections; the museum’s location is breath-taking with panoramic views of the city. The tram, courtyard and architecture feel like an experience straight out of a bond film.
It is free with excellent art collection. Location is nice for peace and calm
Everything. The museum is an architectural masterpiece, with many “hidden” but obvious design elements that both surprise and challenge your sense of sight.
Entry to museum is free but $15 to park. You have to wait to catch a trolly to get to the museum or walk about .5 Miles up hill. Not a bad walk but would be cautious if you have strollers or elders
